الصالح الأول الذي مات. قالوا أين نضعه؟ فقال لهم كشيخ كبير يعني ينصحهم، قال ضعوه في المسجد في مكان العبادة. وفعلا وضعوه أول تمثال يوضع. ما عبدوه أبدا. مات الثاني بعد فترة فصنعوا تمثالا. مات الثالث، الرابع، الخامس، وضعوا خمسة تماثيل في بيت العبادة. ولم يكونوا يعبدونها أبدا ولا يفعلون أي شيء من أنواع العبادات، فقط تمثال في مكان العبادة. وكلما رأوا هذه التماثيل تذكروا الله عز وجل فاستحسنوا هذا العمل. راح جيل جاء بعده جيل ثاني. الجيل الثاني بدأ يجعل لهذه التماثيل هيبة ويجعل لها مكانة. ما عبد، لكن بدأ يقدس شيئا فشيئا هذه التماثيل. ويأتي جيل بعد جيل، جيل بعد جيل حتى اندرس العلم. الناس اللي كانوا عارفينه من العلم بدأ يروح. بدأ الناس يضعف العلم عندهم. وبدأت الناس تتمسح في هذه التماثيل وبدأت الناس تتقرب إليها وبدأت الناس تتوسل بها إلى الله. وفي ذلك الزمان ولأول مرة بعد عشرة قرون من وفاة آدم عليه السلام بدأ الشرك يدب في الأرض. يا الله، ما الذي يحصل؟ كان الناس أمة واحدة فبعث الله فبعث الله النبيين. يعني قبل بعثة النبيين ترى كانوا الناس أمة واحدة. ما كانوا على الشرك أبدا. يفعلون المعاصي صح، لكن الشرك ما تجرؤوا عليه. تدري كم سنة وإبليس يخطط؟ تدري كم سنة ويمشون في خطواته؟ قول كم جيل؟ يأتي جيل بعد جيل بعد جيل وبدأ معهم شنو؟ ناس صالحين. بس حطوا تماثيل تذكركم بالله عز وجل. شوف الخبث اللي في إبليس، لين جاء يوم من الأيام بدأوا يعبدونها من دون الله عز وجل، وقالوا لا تذرن آلهتكم.
The first righteous man who died. They said, 'Where shall we place him?' He said to them, as an old man advising them, 'Place him in the mosque, in the place of worship.' And indeed, they placed him, the first statue to be placed. They never worshipped it. The second died after a while, so they made a statue. The third, fourth, and fifth died, and they placed five statues in the house of worship. They never worshipped them, nor did they perform any kind of worship; it was just a statue in the place of worship. Whenever they saw these statues, they remembered Allah, the Almighty, and they approved of this action. A generation passed, and another generation came after it. The second generation began to give these statues prestige and status. They did not worship them, but they began to sanctify these statues little by little. And generation after generation came, until knowledge was lost. The people who knew about it, the knowledge began to fade. People's knowledge began to weaken. People began to touch these statues, people began to draw closer to them, and people began to use them as intermediaries to Allah. And in that time, for the first time after ten centuries from the death of Adam, peace be upon him, polytheism began to creep into the earth. Oh Allah, what is happening? Mankind was one community, then Allah sent, then Allah sent the prophets. Meaning, before the sending of the prophets, mankind was one community. They were never on polytheism. They committed sins, yes, but they did not dare to commit polytheism. Do you know how many years Iblis has been planning? Do you know how many years they have been following his footsteps? Tell me how many generations? A generation comes after a generation after a generation, and what started with them? Righteous people. But they placed statues to remind you of Allah, the Almighty. Look at the malice in Iblis, until one day they began to worship them instead of Allah, the Almighty, and they said, 'Do not abandon your gods.'
