English translation

O Cain, you will marry your sister, but from the other womb, and you will marry Abel's twin, and O Abel, you will also marry Cain's twin. Abel accepted by the law of God Almighty and by the command of his father, but Cain did not accept. He refused. He said, 'No one will take my twin.' Abel said to him, 'But it is the law of God.' He said, 'But my father said such and such.' He said, 'I will not do it, and I will not let you take my sister.' The dispute reached Adam, peace be upon him, so Adam said to them, 'Do you want to know the command of God Almighty? Offer a sacrifice, and whoever's sacrifice God accepts, his word will prevail.' Abel was a shepherd, while Cain was a farmer. This one was a farmer, and this one was a shepherd. Cain came with the worst types of wheat he had. He brought the worst types of wheat and placed it on a mountain to offer it to his Lord. As for Abel, he came to the best sheep he had, the best one, the fattest one, and he took it and placed it on the mountain, offering it to God. It was their custom and covenant that the sacrifice which God accepts, fire would descend from heaven and burn it. If fire descended from heaven and burned the sacrifice, it meant God accepted it. Adam was watching, Eve was watching, Cain, the girls, and Abel, everyone was watching. Fire descended from heaven and accepted the sacrifice of Abel. As for Cain, God Almighty did not accept it from him. Adam said, 'Then Abel will marry your twin, O Cain.' He refused and threatened, who? He threatened his brother and said to him, 'I will kill you. If you approach my sister, I will kill you.' And recite to them the story of the two sons of Adam in truth, when they both offered a sacrifice, and it was accepted from one of them but was not accepted from the other. And it was not accepted from the other, he said, 'I will surely kill you.'
