There is no partner for Him, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace. O God, bless Muhammad, his wives, his offspring, and his family, as You blessed the family of Abraham; You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious. And bless Muhammad, his wives, his offspring, and his family, as You blessed the family of Abraham; You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious. To proceed, the most truthful speech is the Book of God Almighty, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace. The worst of matters are the newly invented ones, and every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is a misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire. Then, to proceed, the discussion continues, O brothers, regarding the saying of the Prophet, may God bless him and his family and grant them peace, 'Beware of suspicion,' and his saying, peace and blessings be upon him, 'I am as My servant expects Me to be.' We are still researching this dangerous topic, that the servant will not be saved before God Almighty until he has a good opinion of Him, Glory be to Him, the Almighty. Good opinion is only by avoiding the self, as we said, and a group whose own selves have concerned them, they think of God—this was the result. When his own self concerned him, he thought of God other than the truth, the thought of ignorance. Therefore, this is what led us to research the issue of the self and the divisions of the self, you remember, and what the scholars say about it, and how this self is managed and tamed. For this self, if it is tamed, if it is tamed, the heart is guided, and if the heart is guided, it thinks well of God Almighty. And the most dangerous thing in this topic is the saying of God Almighty, in what the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed about Him, 'I am as My servant expects Me to be; if good, then good, and if evil, then the like.' This is the most dangerous thing in the topic, that if the servant meets his Lord with a suspicion of evil, he will find the like of what he thought. Therefore, the predecessors used to say, 'Speak to those who are dying with leniency, so that they may meet God Almighty while having a good opinion of Him.' But in reality, and after this long vacation, and especially after this season of worship seasons, and a person feels after every act of worship some feelings that may change from year to year and may be similar, but with some detail.
