كلهم قتلى، جيف. وأخذ الذين ظلموا الصيحة. فأصبحوا في ديارهم جاثمين. ترى المكان كان فيه لعنة لعنة. لعنة نازلة. وجاءهم نبي الله عز نبي الله صالح عليه السلام. الله أراد أن يأتي إليهم وهم صرعى. كأن لم يغنوا فيها. كأنهم ما عاشوا يوم من الأيام في هذه الأرض. كأن لم يغنوا فيها. ألا إن ثمود كفروا ربهم. ألا بعدا لثمود. جاءهم صالح عليه السلام. وأخذ يكلمهم. تخيل. صالح يكلم منو؟ يكلم الأموات والجيف هذه. يكلمهم. يسمعون؟ ألم يكلم نبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم؟ ألم يكلم القتلى في بدر وهم في القليب؟ حتى عمر يقول: يا رسول الله يسمعونك؟ قال: نعم. ما أنتم يسمع مني منهم، هم يسمعوني أكثر منكم ترى. الله يخلي النبي يوصل رسالته لهم وهم أموات. فكلمهم صالح عليه السلام. وقال لهم وهم جيف وهم محترقين حرق. الصاعقة قتلتهم كلهم، ما أبقت فيهم أحد. فتولى عنهم وقال: يا قوم، الله. شوف الأنبياء شلون كانت قلوبهم رحيمة. لكن خلاص فات الفوت. يا قومي لقد أبلغتكم رسالة ربي. لقد أبلغتكم رسالة ربي ونصحت لكم. ولكن ولكن لا تحبون الناصحين. ثم تولى ومشى عنهم نبي الله صالح عليه السلام. من أوصلوا كتب السماء إلى البشر. ما الشمس من نور النبوة من القمر. فقفوا على آثارهم. أما نبي الله صالح عليه السلام ترك تلك القرية التي لعنت وذهب قاصدًا فلسطين فاستقر فيها.

English translation

All of them were dead bodies, motionless And the ˹mighty˺ blast overtook the wrongdoers, so they fell lifeless in their homes, In this place, a descending curse was evident Allah wanted His Prophet Salih, peace be upon him, to go to them while they were struck as if they had never lived there. As if they had never lived a day on this earth as if they had never lived there. Surely Thamûd denied their Lord, so away with Thamûd! Salih, peace be upon him, came to them and started to address them Imagine, Salih addressing the dead and motionless bodies, yet they were able to hear Did our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, not speak to the martyrs in the Battle of Badr? Even Umar used to ask him if they could hear him, and he said yes He said they hear him better than you do Allah allowed the Prophet to convey his message to them even though they were dead Salih, peace be upon him, spoke to them while they were motionless and burnt The lightning killed all of them, leaving none alive He turned away from them, saying, “O my people! See how the hearts of the prophets are compassionate, but the time has passed So he turned away from them, saying, “O my people! Surely I conveyed to you my Lord’s message and gave you ˹sincere˺ advice, but you do not like ˹sincere˺ advisors.” Then the Prophet of Allah, Salih, turned away from them and walked away The Prophet Salih left that cursed village and went to Palestine, where he settled
