English translation

He loves eternity in bliss originally, then he left them for a period of time, then he came to them and said to them, "O Adam," whispering to Adam and Eve, "Shall I guide you to the tree of eternity? Shall I guide you to the tree of eternity and a kingdom that does not decay?" Do you want to live forever? Do you want the kingdom that does not end? Do you want to be in the ranks of the angels, not dying? He said, "Yes, how?" He said, "The tree." He said, "Which tree?" "The tree that God forbade you from. Do you know what its story is, O Adam? This tree, if you ate from it, nothing would happen. Only one thing will happen: you will become immortal. Whoever eats from the tree becomes like the angels, does not die and does not perish." "And he said, 'Your Lord did not forbid you from this tree except that you should become angels or become of the immortals.'" In the beginning, Adam did not believe him, but he swore by God Almighty. Imagine, Iblis, the wicked criminal, swears. Adam says, "I did not think that anyone would swear by his Lord falsely." "And he swore to them, 'Indeed, I am to you from among the sincere advisors.'" And he left them for a period of time. He comes to whisper and leaves, whispers and leaves. And Adam, in the beginning, used to repel him and seek refuge in God from him, as he was an enemy to him, and he used to leave him. But Iblis remained with him for years in this state until the day came when Eve said to Adam, peace be upon him, "What do you think if we try? Let's taste from it, just taste, not eat. Let's taste from the tree. I will taste before you. If something happens to me, do not eat, do not taste. And if nothing happens, you taste with me also from this tree." "So he misled them with deception." He walks in front of them, and where are they going? They are going to this tree that God forbade them from. God told them two things in Paradise, be careful of them.
