هل سنخاف منه؟ قتلنا الناقة وما حصل شيء. قتلنا ابنها وما حدث شيء. نخاف منه؟ يهددنا بعد ثلاث أيام لنقتله قبل أن يقتلنا. فإن قتلناه رددنا هذا العذاب الذي سيأتي بعد ثلاثة أيام". قالوا: "لكن إن قتلناه فإن عشيرته ستقتلنا لأن صالح عنده عشيرة مو بروحه". قالوا: "إذًا ماذا نفعل؟" مكروا وخططوا وفكروا. قالوا: "نظهر للناس أننا سنسافر. فودعوا أحبابهم وقومهم والناس قالوا لهم: "سنسافر وليحصل لكم ما يحصل". فخرجوا في الليل فلما نام الناس قالوا: "الآن نرجع. ماذا نفعل؟" قالوا: "نبيته". والتبييت يعني نقتله ليلًا غدرًا وهو بين أهله ونقتله مع أهله بعد كلهم. ما نخلي لا هو ولا أهله. لنبيتنَّه وأهله يعني نقتاله غيلةً وغدرًا وبالليل وما حد يدري. فإذا جاء الصباح ورجعنا من السفر والناس سألونا نقسم نقسم لهم أبدًا أننا لا نعلم ما الذي حدث وما الذي جرى. وكان في المدينة تسعة رهط يفسدون في الأرض ولا يصلحون. قالوا. قالوا تقاسموا بالله لنبيتنّه وأهله. رح نقتله هو وأهله بالليل بالغدر، ما حد يدري. لنبيتنّه وأهله ثم لنقولنّ لوليّه، إذا عشيرته يو. في اليوم الثاني. نقول ما ندري، إحنا إيش درّانا؟ إحنا كنا مسافرين ورجعنا، إحنا ما ندري منو اللي قتله. ثم لنقولنّ لوليّه ما شهدنا مهلك أهله وإنّا لصادقون، ومكروا مكراً. ومكرنا مكراً، الله أكبر، شوف الرب شنو يقول. يعني هم يخططون. لكن رب العالمين هو يدبّر الأمر.
