The rules are many, for example, and this could be an extension of the previous one, is not to look at the personalities mentioned by the Quran as people in themselves, you know? But you must look at them as models. How? For example, the Quran mentioned Qarun, Pharaoh, Haman, and the nations of the prophets. These are not people who lived in history and ended. Models repeat in every time. Look at this as a model that repeats in every time and place, and you sometimes might have some of their characteristics. You might see yourself... Yes, and you don't, from where you don't feel, and you might see this in others. Therefore, we now, when we read the verses related to Qarun, Pharaoh, Haman, and so on, or the verses related to the Children of Israel and the nations of the previous prophets, we feel that we are not concerned. Correct. Ah, as if we are only waiting for Allah Almighty to say, 'O you who have believed,' to pay attention. The rest of the Quran, we are not concerned with it, and this is not correct. Correct. The Quran did not mention these, I mean, in vain, but rather it wanted through them to alert us to important issues and angles in building our awareness towards reality. For example, Qarun. Qarun is a model. A model that has a clear logic of thinking that the Quran explained with specific characteristics. For example, Qarun says, 'I was only given it because of knowledge I have.' I mean, when his people said to him about the wealth and treasures he possesses, he attributed the credit to himself. How many of us think with the logic of self-entitlement? When he reaches a position, 'I achieved it with my intelligence, I achieved it with my ability.' When he gets academic excellence, 'I am the one who achieved it, I and so on.' When the world opens up to him and he expands in wealth, he attributes the credit to himself. Everything he attributes the credit to himself. This is a Qarun-like tendency. You know? This is a Qarun-like tendency, I mean, you must strive to treat it. And therefore, you must contemplate these characteristics. You see the Prophet, peace be upon him, in Musnad Imam Ahmad, when he said about Abu Jahl, what? 'The Pharaoh of this nation.' Allah. Here, the Prophet, peace be upon him, did not look at Pharaoh as a person who lived in Egypt and ended. No, as a model that repeats in every time and place. And therefore, he identified Abu Jahl as the Pharaoh of this nation. Characteristics repeated in the personality. Yes, Pharaoh's characteristics are present in him. Pharaoh's personality characteristics are present in him. Therefore, he cast them upon him.
